Description

You will develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain control systems for electrical power flow on Starlink satellites. You will improve insight into power system health and performance, analyze satellite data to identify anomalies, and design schemes to protect the vehicle. You will collaborate with a diverse team including software, reliability, and satellite operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, physics, computer science or other STEM discipline
• Professional experience with C/C++, Python, or Java
• Experience with linear closed loop controls analysis and design (state space and frequency domain methods)
• Experience with embedded C++, Python, MATLAB, Simulink
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain control systems for electrical power flow on Starlink satellites
• Improve insight into power system health and performance via ground-based or on-vehicle estimation
• Analyze satellite data to identify anomalous system or algorithm behavior
• Design schemes to protect vehicle from dangerous operation and algorithms from corruption
• Interface with software, reliability, and satellite operations teams
