You'll perform detailed thermal analysis of airframe and aircraft systems for an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform detailed thermal analysis of airframe and aircraft systems.
• Develop and implement thermal management solutions for composite structures.
• Design and optimize cooling solutions for aircraft systems and LRUs.
• Support planning and execution of test campaigns for model validation.

📋 Requirements

• MS/PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in thermal analysis and design in aerospace or automotive.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer fundamentals (conduction, convection, radiation).
• Demonstrated experience with CFD and FEA software (e.g., StarCCM+, Ansys Fluent, Abacus).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with eVTOLs or electric aircraft/automotive programs.
• Familiarity with thermal management of high-voltage battery systems and electric motors.
• Experience with gradient-based and gradient-free optimization techniques.
