💼 About This Role

You'll own the scale-up of robot data collection operations at Lila Sciences, managing supervisors and setting conditions for consistent operator performance. You'll build processes, metrics, and programs from the ground up, serving as the operational link between the floor and Robotics Research. This role offers a chance to design and own the operational playbook for a rapidly growing team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Run day-to-day operation across all shifts, setting throughput targets and monitoring adherence
• Manage supervisors who directly run operators, setting goals and running performance loops
• Design and refine onboarding, training, incentives, and scheduling to drive retention and engagement
• Own throughput and quality metrics, building dashboards and running review cadences
• Plan capacity, translating research priorities into operator allocation and equipment requirements

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of operations or program management experience with direct people management
• Track record running shift-based, throughput-driven operations (warehousing, manufacturing, contact centers, data labeling, etc.)
• Demonstrated success reducing churn or improving retention in a frontline workforce
• Comfort with metrics and a builder mindset

• Experience managing managers or building a supervisor layer from scratch
• Background in robotics, autonomous systems, or physical AI data collection
• Familiarity with workforce management software, shift-scheduling tooling, or QA workflow tools
