Description

You will provide technical expertise and assist in implementing environmental, health and safety programs at the Rocket Development Test Site. You will collaborate with leadership, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience in environmental, health and safety disciplines or relevant engineering field
• Experience with federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations
• Familiarity with structural design, safety systems, and construction safety
• ITAR compliance: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, EPA, CERCLA, RCRA, DOT, and other regulations
• Collaborate with leadership to complete job hazard assessments and implement H&S policies
• Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Investigate accidents and occupational diseases to determine root causes and corrective actions
