💼 About This Role

You'll own quality engineering end-to-end for the Filevine Meetings app—a greenfield React Native product. You'll define strategy, choose tools, and build automation infrastructure from scratch on a HIPAA-compliant, offline-first platform. This is a 70/30 automation to exploratory testing role.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement mobile QA strategy for iOS, Android, and server API
• Build automated e2e test suites for record→encrypt→sync→transcribe flows
• Integrate testing into GitLab CI pipelines and device farm execution
• Perform exploratory testing on offline behavior, sync conflicts, and encryption edge cases

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years in SDET or QA engineering with mobile experience
• Hands-on with mobile e2e frameworks (Detox, Maestro, or Appium)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python
• Experience building test infrastructure from scratch

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with encrypted local storage (SQLCipher, Keychain)
• Experience with HIPAA or regulated environments
• Contract testing with Pact
