Description

You will evaluate and arrange lots for weekly auctions, ensuring high-quality and attractive listings in the vintage designer furniture category. You'll collaborate with the sales team to develop the seller base and leverage your network to source new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in vintage and designer furniture (chairs, sofas, tables, etc.)
• Experience from an auction house, vintage design dealership, or as a dealer
• In-depth knowledge of iconic designers, brands, periods, and production techniques
• Ability to assess authenticity, age, condition, and material quality
• Commercial experience in price negotiations and sourcing new business

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve vintage furniture submissions for auctions
• Set estimated values and review lot titles, descriptions, and images
• Compile attractive weekly auctions collaboratively
• Develop seller base and onboard high-potential leads
• Upsell existing sellers using industry network
