Description

You will join a team performing development, qualification and acceptance tests of liquid rocket engine subcomponents and integrated subsystems for our Spectrum rocket. You will lead test operations, maintain and upgrade test rigs, and design test set-ups, working closely with design engineers to enable fast iterations.

Requirements

• Sc/M.Sc in aerospace, mechanical engineering or similar
• 5+ years experience in propulsion testing or similar
• Hands-on experience in cryogenic fluid rocket propulsion systems
• Experienced in test data acquisition, reduction and evaluation
• Capable of designing fluid and mechanical systems from concept to dimensioned installations

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute tests, process data and write reports
• Manage test campaigns for propulsion equipment
• Develop and maintain internal test standards, procedures and sequences
• Lead maintenance activities and troubleshooting on existing test benches
• Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians
