Description

You will design and develop large-scale, real-time advertising platform components, collaborating with engineering and product teams to build best-in-class solutions for Roku's ad business.

Requirements

• 10+ years building large-scale, low-latency distributed systems
• Command of Java or C++
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, OOP, multi-threading, real-time programming
• Experience with distributed caching, SQL/NoSQL is a plus
• Experience with Big Data and cloud services (AWS/GCP) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, highly performing real-time applications
• Own building features, driving directly with product and engineering teams
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Evangelize best practices across development, QA, and infrastructure/ops
• Deliver top-quality software in a timely fashion
