Description

You will oversee daily operations at the Sleeping Bear wind site, ensuring safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance and repairs. You will lead crews, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and mentor lower-level technicians to maintain high availability and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years turbine experience with Associate's degree or 5+ years without
• 1+ years independent turbine troubleshooting experience
• Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet unassisted and work in adverse weather
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safe work practices for wind plant operations
• Inspect repairs and scheduled maintenance for quality assurance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems
• Lead crews and assist in training lower-level technicians
• Perform balance of plant and switchyard maintenance
