💼 About This Role

You'll lead battery pack design improvements and validation testing for ALSO's small electric vehicles. You will own technical execution of modules and packs as they transition from lab to mass production. This role bridges mature product design and high-volume manufacturing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead battery pack design improvements with DOEs and prototypes.
• Ensure designs meet mechanical, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Act as technical liaison with contract manufacturers worldwide.
• Define lifecycle test needs for quality and reliability.

📋 Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree with strong physics fundamentals.
• 5-10+ years in battery engineering with cell selection and module hardware.
• Deep understanding of battery safety standards (UN 38.3, UL 1642, SAE J2464).
• Strong grasp of first principles thinking for novel problem solving.

✨ Nice to Have

• Catia V6 3D modeling and drafting expertise.
• Familiarity with laser welding and ultrasonic welding processes.
• Experience designing for high-volume automated assembly lines.
