๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll be embedded within Benchling's Enterprise sales organization, partnering with Account Executives to drive growth in top biopharma accounts. You'll own outbound prospecting and close smaller deals independently while learning enterprise SaaS sales. This high-visibility role combines your scientific background with commercial strategy.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Own renewal and change order opportunities (<$75K iACV) within assigned Enterprise Accounts
  • Drive outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and multi-thread outreach
  • Serve as trusted advisor by understanding customers' R&D workflows and roadmap
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to identify product expansion opportunities
  • Build and maintain Account Plans, Org Maps, and Opportunity documentation

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Life science background (bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, etc. or direct pharma sales experience)
  • 1-3 years in Sales Development or Inside Sales role, ideally with enterprise accounts
  • Consistent high-volume outbound activity and strong conversion track record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Prior experience selling into Top 20 Pharma or large biotech accounts
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, or similar sales tools
  • Exposure to scientific research workflows or laboratory software
