As a Staff Software Developer at Auvik, you will lead technical excellence by diving deep into systems, tackling complex problems, and delivering scalable solutions. You'll stay close to the codebase while having wide-reaching influence, designing and shipping high-quality software alongside your team.

Requirements

• Hands-on engineer with strong grasp of system design and clean coding practices.
• Experience debugging complex issues and building scalable systems.
• Proactive self-starter who can independently lead projects.
• Familiarity with logging, tracing, metrics, and alerting tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Experience tackling performance bottlenecks or scalability challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical challenges and architect scalable, performant solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Go, Scala, or TypeScript (React/GraphQL).
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build valuable features.
• Mentor developers, champion best practices, and lead code reviews.
