Description

You will support SpaceX and Starlink's business and growth objectives by leading federal lobbying efforts and building strategic coalitions on telecommunications, broadband, and national security issues. You'll shape legislative strategies, develop relationships with government officials, and monitor national security policy developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience working on legislative matters in private sector or government
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel 25% and attend events on behalf of SpaceX
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Serve as front-line advocate for SpaceX on national security, defense, and intelligence matters
• Shape legislative strategies for federal government, particularly defense appropriations and intelligence authorization committees
• Develop and maintain relationships with federal officials, lawmakers, and regulatory decision-makers
• Oversee consultants and third-parties engaged in government affairs
• Draft legislative language, attend hearings, and develop policy positions
