💼 About This Role

You'll lead the global privacy and product legal strategy for a high-growth tech company, shaping compliance frameworks and advising on AI-driven features. Your work will directly influence product direction and embed privacy-by-design principles across the organization. This role offers senior leadership with a mix of strategic and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead global privacy and product legal strategy and compliance programs.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of privacy and product counsel.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed privacy-by-design principles.
• Provide legal guidance on AI-powered products and responsible AI governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements like DPAs.

📋 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active U.S. state bar membership.
• 10+ years of legal experience, including 3+ years in-house at a tech company.
• Strong expertise in global privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
• Proven experience building and scaling privacy compliance programs in tech.

• CIPP/US or CIPP/E certification.
