Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Japanese language, linguistics, or related field
• Peer-reviewed publications, translation experience, or linguistic analysis projects
• Access to Android device for testing
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills

Responsibilities

• Challenge language models on dialectal variation, formal vs. colloquial Japanese, orthography, translation, and semantic ambiguity
• Document error traces and identify failure modes to harden model reasoning
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model outputs
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
