Description

You will lead the design and validation of new low voltage power distribution products, managing a team of engineers and overseeing complex projects from 3D modeling to 2D drafting. You'll drive innovation, ensure compliance with standards, and optimize manufacturability and cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years experience in R&D or product development in power distribution industry
• Proven leadership in engineering projects and developing new technologies
• Experience with low voltage switchgear, panelboards, or utility systems preferred
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and sheet metal design

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and validation of new low voltage power distribution products
• Manage and mentor engineers and designers, tracking project timelines and ensuring quality
• Drive on-time performance and minimize design errors for NPI project deliverables
• Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality
• Facilitate communication between design and manufacturing teams to align processes
