Description

You will drive technical architecture and design decisions for SoFi's data platform, leading initiatives in semantic layer, BI analytics, and AI/ML use cases. You will own the full software development lifecycle, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor team members to foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field
• 10+ years hands-on experience in software/data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Experience with data tools such as Snowflake, GitLab, AWS, Airflow, DBT, Tableau, Power BI

Responsibilities

• Drive technical architecture and design decisions for data platform products
• Lead full SDLC from requirements to deployment
• Build and optimize operational experience and participate in on-call rotation
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions meeting business needs
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance
