Description

You will lead design verification testing for the torso electrical subsystem of a humanoid robot, including PCBAs, batteries, sensors, and power electronics. You'll own the verification strategy, develop automated test infrastructure, and drive improvements in test coverage and engineering rigor.

Requirements

• 8+ years in test engineering, design verification, or electrical validation
• Deep understanding of PCBA-level verification, power, signal integrity, and sensor interfaces
• Experience with battery systems, power distribution, and safety-critical electrical subsystems
• Proficiency with lab tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DAQs, power supplies) and Python scripting
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)

Responsibilities

• Own design verification strategy for torso electrical subsystems and components
• Define verification plans, coverage goals, and test protocols
• Develop automated test setups for cameras, LiDAR, battery packs, power distribution, and control electronics
• Investigate test failures, drive root cause identification and corrective actions
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering rigor
