💼 About This Role

You'll serve as an on-call substitute teacher for elementary and middle school students during DREAM's summer program. You'll lead phonics, math, and ELA workshops using provided curriculum. This role offers the chance to make a difference in a supportive educational environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Teach ELA and/or Math components using curriculum provided
• Support Youth Workers during SEL instruction
• Use data to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitor breakfast, lunch, and recess

📋 Requirements

• At least 2 years of lead teaching experience
• Ability to provide high-quality ELA and math instruction to students
• Strong ability to engage students in a classroom environment
• Must be able to work in-person at the program site

✨ Nice to Have

• New York State certification in Childhood Education
• Experience with Science of Reading curriculum (e.g., CKLA)
• Ability to teach both elementary and middle school levels
