Description

In this role, you will lead complex technical programs across multiple teams, leveraging AI to automate workflows and enhance productivity. You will manage project plans, influence technical direction, align stakeholders, and drive measurable business outcomes for Airbnb's hosting platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the software development industry, with at least 5 years as a TPM or relevant experience.
• Experience using AI to automate manual processes to improve productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive and proven ability to adapt well and work with teams having different operating cadences.
• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a track record of taking ownership, leading data driven analyses, and influencing results.
• Experience with ML models, LLMs, LRMs, feature development, model testing and resource management to support the development of AI-powered product experiences.
• Familiar with A/B testing, incremental delivery and deployment.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies with minimal lag time.
• Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans to execute on initiatives, identify key milestones and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Think both broadly about overall outcomes while using good judgment on where to focus in on details.
• Influence the technical direction of projects to meet stakeholders’ needs while upholding quality.
• Quickly validate project ideas through iterative development, and pivot as necessary.
• Define and align on success criteria for both short term and long term business goals, regularly assessing risks and opportunities and identifying mitigation strategies.
• Manage effective communication channels to keep a wider range of stakeholders updated on the progress.
• Showcase the work in front of senior leaders, clearly communicate trade-offs, risks, and opportunities.
