You'll perform precision assembly and integration of satellite mechanism subsystems including hinges, actuators, and deployment systems for the world's first space-based cellular broadband network. Working in a cleanroom environment with strict aerospace standards, you'll interpret engineering drawings and execute testing to ensure flight hardware meets quality requirements. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge space technology at a pioneering company.
π― What You'll Do
- Assemble and integrate satellite mechanism subsystems from engineering drawings and procedures.
- Install and route electrical harnesses, connectors, and sensors within tight tolerances.
- Execute functional, environmental, and acceptance testing on hardware.
- Troubleshoot anomalies during integration and testing; perform rework as required.
- Record build data and non-conformances in manufacturing systems.
π Requirements
- Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical technology or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in precision mechanical assembly and/or electrical integration.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, torque tools, and electrical test equipment.

- Aerospace or high-reliability hardware environment experience.
- Familiarity with satellite mechanisms (deployment systems, actuators).
- Cleanroom work experience and contamination control knowledge.
