Description

You will work closely with Autonomy development, eval infrastructure, and data science teams to define system-level behavior requirements for fault scenarios, build validation tooling and pipelines, and contribute to risk quantification. Your work will have both short-term impact on deployments and long-term impact on autonomy feature roadmapping.

Requirements

• 5+ years technical work experience with 3+ years software development
• Proficient in Python or C++
• Bachelor's/Master's in CS, EE, ME, Robotics, Physics, or related field
• Strong understanding of robotic systems architecture
• Familiarity with simulation and real-world testing of autonomous systems

Responsibilities

• Define fault response requirements decomposed through autonomy software and hardware architecture
• Drive fault-centric validation concepts from prototype to production
• Develop tools and data engineering frameworks to inject faults and interpret results
• Extract high-impact metrics and performance indicators for degraded states
• Contribute to tooling for automated evaluation of test logs for contingency requirements
