💼 About This Role

You'll be the second attorney in Turquoise Health's history, partnering across Sales, Product, Engineering, and more as an embedded legal advisor. You'll own the contracting function end-to-end and help scale Legal's infrastructure. This role offers a front-row seat to how the business works with high ownership and low ego.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as first point of contact for legal questions across all departments
• Draft and negotiate MSAs, BAAs, SOWs, NDAs, and other commercial agreements
• Build and maintain legal infrastructure, systems, and processes
• Interpret healthcare regulations (HIPAA, No Surprises Act, price transparency)

📋 Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in a US state
• 4-7 years of transactional legal experience with commercial contracts focus
• Strong working knowledge of SaaS and data licensing
• Comfort with healthcare-adjacent regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, No Surprises Act)

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Ironclad or another CLM platform
• Experience with managed care or payer/provider/employer relations
• Exposure to IP basics (trademark, patent fundamentals)
