Description

As a Principal Software Engineer at Rula, you'll architect the next generation of patient-facing mental healthcare tools, owning systems that power the entire patient lifecycle from signup to post-visit experiences. You'll bridge high-traffic consumer application architecture with applied AI, designing resilient full-stack systems and autonomous agentic workflows to scale our mission to millions of patients.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on consumer-facing full-stack development and distributed systems
• Expert-level experience integrating AI into user experiences, including RAG pipelines, vector orchestration, and agentic loops
• Proven track record of architecting full-stack AI systems that handle production-grade traffic
• Deep knowledge bridging modern frontend/backend ecosystems (React, Node/Python) with LLM infrastructure (tokenization, MLOps observability)
• Demonstrated technical leadership in driving consumer product initiatives and mentoring cross-functional teams
