Description
As a Solutions/Presales Engineer at BigID, you'll work with the Sales team as a technical expert, influencing customer decisions and driving proof-of-value implementations. You'll consult on best practices, stay current on competitive solutions, and develop trusted advisor relationships with customers to ensure they realize the value of the platform.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication and executive presentation skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment
- Background in Big Data, AI, privacy, data governance, or information security
- Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB), Hadoop, cloud technologies
- Minimum 3 years in pre-sales or consulting role; Linux and container framework proficiency
Responsibilities
- Act as technical subject matter expert during customer calls and presentations
- Consult on best practices for solution architecture and design
- Stay up-to-date on competitive solutions and products
- Drive customer success with real-world knowledge and recommendations
