💼 About This Role

You'll lead the evolution of AcuityMD's core healthcare data assets by applying statistical and machine learning techniques to convert messy, real-world health data into insight. You will design and ship predictive models and data products, improving the quality and interpretability of existing models. This role offers the chance to work with terabytes of diverse healthcare data at a high-growth startup backed by top-tier investors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, train, and validate predictive and statistical models on healthcare data
• Frame business questions as modeling problems with appropriate techniques
• Engineer features across time-series, geospatial, demographic, and claims datasets
• Own the full model lifecycle from exploration to deployment and monitoring
• Partner with product managers to translate customer problems into model-backed features

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in machine learning roles shipping models to production
• Strong foundations in applied statistics including regression, classification, forecasting, and experimental design
• Hands-on experience merging messy real-world datasets like time-series and geospatial data
• Proficiency in Python data/ML stack and SQL for data preparation

• Experience with healthcare datasets such as medical insurance claims, EHR, or lab results
