Description

You'll build the application-layer foundations for AI integration at Roofr, establishing integration patterns, agent scaffolding, and shared architecture that product teams depend on. Your work will have outsized impact across the entire company.

Requirements

• 5–8 years backend software development experience
• Production experience building AI-powered systems (agents, integrations, or LLM-powered features at scale)
• Hands-on familiarity with LLM APIs and agent frameworks (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, LangChain, or similar)
• Experience building evaluation pipelines for LLM-powered systems
• Strong integration engineering background with reliable external service connectors

Responsibilities

• Build application-layer foundations for AI integration including agent scaffolding and shared architecture
• Design and implement reliable, scalable integrations with third-party services and APIs
• Build data pipelines for AI systems including structured data feeds, embeddings, and retrieval infrastructure
• Design and maintain rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI systems including accuracy benchmarks and regression suites
• Collaborate across engineering teams to understand needs and establish shared patterns
