You will own the full corporate actions lifecycle across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and fixed income, driving automation and control initiatives. This role focuses on subject matter expertise, process optimization, and hands-on ownership to build a scalable, audit-ready operation.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in brokerage, clearing, or custody operations focused on corporate actions
- Strong working knowledge of DTCC PBS
- Deep understanding of mandatory and voluntary event types, timelines, market standards, tax/cost-basis implications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Series 7 required; Series 24 preferred
- Superb communication skills
- Resilience and determination to achieve success

Responsibilities
- Process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions from announcement through completion
- Oversee dividends, interest, and related payments with proper withholding and tax treatment
- Manage announcements, options, elections, allocations, entitlements, and reconciliations
- Coordinate voluntary event details and submit elections via custodians and DTCC PBS/CA Web/AIP
- Implement and monitor maker-checker controls, exception dashboards, KPIs, and audit-ready evidence
- Partner with product and engineering to streamline workflows and drive straight-through processing
- Identify, escalate, and resolve discrepancies; ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Build and maintain process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Manage key vendor and platform relationships and contribute to platform enhancements
