Description

You will own flight hardware from conceptual design through production and operation for aircraft installations. You'll develop design criteria, perform analysis including FEA and CAD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to certify components and drive production success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other STEM discipline
• Experience with CAD and FEA software packages
• Experience with mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing
• Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Own hardware from concept through production and operation for aircraft installations
• Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, drive system-level optimization
• Perform analysis including hand calculations, FEA, and CAD in a rapidly changing environment
• Lead design reviews and work with FAA designees to certify components and systems
• Generate production drawings using GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
