💼 About This Role

You'll build scalable infrastructure that protects millions of Cash App customers while ensuring fair and equitable access to financial services. You'll partner across engineering, product, and risk teams to power critical trust and safety decisions. You'll work on an AI-driven engineering team that uses agentic coding tools across the entire development lifecycle.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to scope and launch features
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to design and product discussions
• Mentor teammates to grow their technical breadth and depth
• Direct AI agents across prototyping, implementation, debugging, and code review

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years experience building and operating highly available services
• Experience contributing to cross-functional technical efforts and coordinating across teams
• Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools in production work
• Regular, effective use of agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Kotlin or Java
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka)
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
