You'll join the Database Services SRE team to design and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases powering GoDaddy.com. Your core impact is ensuring high availability and performance for large-scale OLTP systems. This role stands out with opportunities to leverage AI-enabled automation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement highly available MS SQL Server environments
• Partner with engineering teams to design scalable database architectures
• Document security standards and performance optimization strategies
• Lead database deployments, upgrades, capacity planning, and backup/recovery

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of MS SQL Server administration experience
• 2+ years of high-availability technologies like Always On Availability Groups
• Strong T-SQL and PowerShell scripting foundation
• 1+ year of experience with Jira or Kanban tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GitHub version control
• Exposure to AI-enabled tools or automation
• Familiarity with Storage Area Networks
