Description

You will execute fixed income trades on a discretionary macro portfolio management team, focusing on mortgage-backed securities, TBAs, and specified pool markets. Build and enhance analytical tools for MBS trading, and potentially grow into an associate PM or systematic quant role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Strong interest in fixed income trading
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Tenacious, detail-orientated, organized, proactive about operational risks
• Exposure to SQL or Python a plus

Responsibilities

• Execute trades across MBS products and hedges (rates/vol) for PM portfolio
• Build and enhance tools for analysis of MBS/MBS option and spec pool trading
• Liaise and build relationships with broker dealer counterparts for best execution and liquidity
