Description

As a Payments Analyst on the Technical Operations team, you will support critical payment flows, maintain financial partner integrations, perform cash reconciliation, monitor payments performance, and triage issues. You will work closely with finance and engineering teams to ensure accurate data delivery and help Stripe scale its global payments platform.

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in a technical role with SQL querying relational databases.
• Experience with payment flows, financial systems, and solving large-scale technical challenges.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate and identify root causes of issues.
• Experience handling complex workflows and coordinating with technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle reconciliation and payments requests to ensure accurate ledgering of funds and address support inquiries from banking partners.
• Monitor user performance, respond to degradation alerts, triage and investigate causes, and communicate findings to account teams and banking partners.
• Interface with financial partners to communicate operational breakages and drive resolutions.
• Provide fast, accurate responses to complex support inquiries from partners.
• Identify and automate inefficient operational processes to reduce manual workloads.
