Description

As a Physical Therapy Assistant with BAYADA Home Health Care, you'll help clients achieve optimal physical wellbeing through treatment, education, and interventions outlined by a licensed Physical Therapist. You'll work part-time in the Glendale area, implementing individualized care plans, educating clients and families, and documenting care using a touch pad tablet.

Requirements

• Graduate of a two-year college level program approved by APTA, or two years experience as PTA with satisfactory proficiency exam grade
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced home health Physical Therapist
• Provide treatment, tests, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized care plans including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance
• Educate clients, family members, and representatives on rehabilitative care and activities
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records
