You'll lead microbiological programs to ensure food safety and quality in a plant setting. Your work will directly impact compliance with food safety regulations and drive continuous improvement in production processes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage and develop an effective environmental monitoring program
• Conduct sampling and aseptic techniques for finished products
• Investigate out-of-specification lab results and report to management
• Lead root cause analysis for microbiological issues and deviations

📋 Requirements

• BS degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
• Experience in microbiological testing methods and food manufacturing
• Knowledge of HACCP & HARPC and food safety management implementation
• Experience establishing environmental monitoring programs and cleaning standards

✨ Nice to Have

• Seafood HACCP training
• Experience in designing or managing a new lab
• People management experience
