You will lead the design and development of high-performance backend services for Proof's mobile platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable APIs and optimize system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend development experience building scalable web services and APIs
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Go for production services
• Proven ability to design and build RESTful APIs
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization, and CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Lead backend service design, development, and maintenance ensuring high availability and scalability
• Architect and optimize database schemas, queries, and data pipelines
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with mobile and frontend engineers on API contracts
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement caching, optimize reliability
