Description

As a Junior Discretionary Trader, you will work alongside senior traders, receiving mentorship while helping maintain target portfolio positions through daily monitoring, maintenance, and hedging. You'll collaborate with quantitative researchers and develop skills in fundamental and macro analysis, research, portfolio construction, risk management, and execution across equities, commodities, rates/FX, and credit.

Requirements

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with relevant coursework or internship
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Finance)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Programming skills in Python or similar language

Responsibilities

• Generate PnL tracking and attribution reports
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance to generate risk reports
• Hedge books and allocate hedges appropriately
• Execute large or complex trades limited by complexity or liquidity
• Collaborate with senior traders and quantitative researchers to evaluate new trading opportunities
