💼 About This Role

You'll join Waymo's operations team to develop and execute vehicle quality controls for autonomous driving systems. Your work will directly ensure each vehicle meets technical specifications before customer shipment. This role offers hands-on impact at the forefront of autonomous vehicle manufacturing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and execute the vehicle Control Plan for quality controls.
• Provide on-site support for quality controls during manufacturing.
• Document problems and implement corrective actions cross-functionally.
• Assess and approve vehicle repairs and reworks to meet specifications.
• Verify vehicle compliance and sign off prior to shipment.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in Manufacturing/Engineering/Operations Quality in automotive/transportation.
• Bachelor's Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with light assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Strong skills leading 7D problem solving processes.

✨ Nice to Have

• 10+ years experience in similar role.
• Experience with supplier audits and APQP/PPAP.
• Hands-on mechanical and vehicle electrical troubleshooting.
