Description

You will ensure safe, stable, and efficient facility operations for ASM's R&D environment, maintaining and improving critical utilities like gas supply and abatement systems, and supporting utility infrastructure for PEALD R&D equipment. This hands-on role combines maintenance, project execution, and compliance to enable reliable lab operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years as a Facility Engineer or similar role
• Practical knowledge of gas and chemical supply systems for semiconductor equipment
• Hands-on experience with utility setup for semiconductor tools
• Engineering certifications in gas and/or refrigeration/HVAC - required

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot utility supply systems (gas/chemical, abatement, facility utilities)
• Review facility/equipment specifications, evaluate system performance, and propose improvements
• Plan maintenance schedules and supervise contractors
• Design and manage facility expansion, layout changes, and system implementations
• Conduct project cost analysis, prepare budgets, and track execution
