Description

You will advise corporate clients on procurement matters, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements including IT and technology contracts, and manage discussions with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks in global procurement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years corporate procurement experience on an in-house legal team
  • Procurement support experience in direct/indirect procurement, IT procurement, supplier relationship management, supplier onboarding, and contractual dispute resolution
  • Experience negotiating directly with opposing counsel regarding contract terms
  • Active bar license in good standing in the state of residence

Responsibilities

  • Advise corporate clients on procurement matters and mitigate legal issues in global product procurement
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including technology and IT procurement contracts
  • Standardize terms and contractual language for IT, technology, and infrastructure platform licensing, software licensing, vendor, supplier, and operational agreements
  • Manage discussions with internal business stakeholders in purchase functions
