💼 About This Role

You'll join Masabi's Architecture team to shape the technical direction of the fare payment platform. You'll design scalable services and guide complex decisions across teams. This role combines hands-on coding with strategic architecture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Shape Masabi's platform architecture and standards
• Design and deliver scalable, robust services
• Stay hands-on in code and technical delivery
• Act as senior technical advisor across teams

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Operated at Principal or Staff level
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Proven experience in data architecture (platforms, pipelines, warehouses)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with REST API design in complex environments
• Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka)
• Familiarity with Kotlin, Java, DynamoDB, MySQL, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD
