Description

You will negotiate security, privacy, and compliance provisions in customer agreements for software and services in the Telco/ISP industry. You'll act as a legal liaison between commercial, security, and sales teams, and support global contracting, including AI/SaaS/cloud offerings.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant legal experience in information security, privacy, and compliance
• Demonstrated experience negotiating security and privacy terms in software/services agreements
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and similar standards
• Law degree and authorization to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
• Experience in telecommunications industry or supporting telecom operators

Responsibilities

• Negotiate data protection, security, and compliance provisions in customer contracts (MSAs, DPAs, security annexes)
• Act as legal liaison between commercial legal, information security, sales, and compliance teams
• Serve as customer-facing legal contact for security and privacy discussions during contract negotiations
• Advise internal teams on regulatory, contractual, and customer-specific data protection and cybersecurity requirements
• Track and interpret global laws and industry standards impacting telecom customers
