💼 About This Role

You'll design, develop, and implement guidance, navigation, and control systems for advanced satellite missions. You'll lead projects, develop novel algorithms, and support on-orbit operations for cutting-edge RPO missions. This role offers the chance to mentor junior engineers and shape technical strategy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement advanced GNC algorithms for RPO missions.
• Conduct simulations and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Perform mission analysis, trajectory optimization, and orbit determination.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical trade studies.

📋 Requirements

• Ph.D., MS with 1-2 years, or BS with 2-4 years in engineering with control systems or orbital mechanics focus.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or MATLAB for algorithm development.
• Experience in at least one major aspect of GNC engineering (guidance, navigation, controls, modeling & simulation, or testing).
• Ability to obtain a Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO).
• Hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testing experience.
• Mission operations experience including on-orbit anomaly investigation.
