🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement security and privacy features in large-scale web applications
• Build defenses against abuse, bots, and malicious activity
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on secure architecture decisions
• Conduct security and privacy reviews of systems and features

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to security or privacy
• Strong experience in modern web application development (backend and frontend)
• Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript with ability to learn new technologies
• Experience building secure software systems or privacy-focused features

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with anti-abuse systems
• Familiarity with MediaWiki or open-source contributions
• Experience with large-scale backend systems
