Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Neros, you will own key components and subsystems from concept through mass production, optimizing for performance, manufacturability, and cost. You'll work hands-on in a fast-paced startup environment to deliver best-in-class hardware for advanced unmanned systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years experience in fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environments
• Strong engineering fundamentals and first principles thinking
• Proficiency with CAD software (Solidworks or NX)

Responsibilities

• Own hardware design from concept through mass production
• Perform design trades using 3D modeling, FEA, and first principles
• Lead design reviews and create engineering drawings
• Root cause hardware failures and manufacturing issues
• Work with manufacturing and supply chain on build instructions and vendor selection
