💼 About This Role

You'll lead the merchant operations function within Paytm's Payment Acquiring & Cross-Border business, owning the full merchant lifecycle from acquisition to activation. Your work will directly impact the operational backbone supporting millions of merchants across India. This role offers the chance to shape compliance frameworks and drive seamless onboarding at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own full merchant lifecycle from application through activation and account management.
• Design onboarding workflows for varying risk profiles and payment corridors.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex merchant cases.
• Monitor gateway and acquiring performance metrics and drive resolution.

📋 Requirements

• 6-10 years of progressive experience in payments operations or fintech.
• At least 4 years in a leadership role managing multi-functional operations teams.
• Hands-on experience owning merchant onboarding and KYC/KYB operations at scale.
• Strong working knowledge of payment acquiring and cross-border compliance frameworks.

• Experience with RBI, FEMA, SWIFT compliance.
