💼 About This Role

You'll lead Aspora's US legal and compliance function, building the infrastructure for a borderless financial operating system. You'll own BSA/AML, state licensing, and consumer protection compliance from day one, serving as the face to US regulators. This role offers significant autonomy to shape the compliance program while working with top-tier VC backing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain BSA/AML compliance program
• Manage state MTL licensing and regulatory exams
• Oversee consumer protection compliance (Reg E, UDAAP)
• Draft and negotiate key commercial agreements

📋 Requirements

• FinCEN and state MTL regime experience
• Hands-on BSA/AML compliance program management
• Experience with SAR/CTR filing process
• Legal degree and bar admission required

• Experience with digital remittance or money transfer
• Familiarity with OFAC sanctions screening
