💼 About This Role

You'll lead the identification and scoping of AI/ML use cases for ballistic missile defence coordination and integrated air and missile defence challenges. You will conduct feasibility studies on advanced AI techniques and develop prototypes in the NATO Software Factory. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI within a NATO framework.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify and scope AI/ML use cases for (T)BMD fire-control coordination.
• Review existing NIAG SG300 reports and TBMD simulation data.
• Design baseline data architecture and methodological framework for responsible AI use.
• Develop and evaluate AI/ML software prototypes in the NATO Software Factory.
• Prepare and deliver subject matter briefings and training sessions.

📋 Requirements

• Experience in AI/ML applied to defence or missile defence domains.
• Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and large language models.
• Ability to design and implement AI/ML prototypes in a NATO context.
• Familiarity with NATO's AI architecture and responsible AI principles.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ballistic missile defence (BMD) simulation data.
• Background in developing responsible AI frameworks.
• Prior work with NATO or similar international organizations.
