💼 About This Role

You'll support the GIS Security Architecture team by executing security reviews, approvals, and design tasks to ensure corporate infrastructure and applications remain secure and compliant. You'll handle high-volume ticket queues and contribute to reference architecture maintenance. This role is remote within the US, prioritizing Mountain/Pacific time candidates.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review and approve antivirus exclusions, browser extensions, and firewall rules.
• Attend Architecture and AI Committee meetings to provide security input.
• Maintain and update security reference architectures and technical standards.
• Apply risk assessment frameworks to ticketed requests and suggest compensating controls.

📋 Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in information security.
• Working knowledge of security frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001.
• Practical experience with network security, firewall rules, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive tasks in a structured queue environment.
