You'll design and build a highly scalable, event-driven billing service as a key backend engineer. You'll drive improvements in billing reliability, accuracy, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers hands-on work with the GCP ecosystem and ownership of critical billing infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain highly scalable event-driven billing services
• Build ingestion pipelines consuming usage events from Pub/Sub
• Implement metering, rating, aggregation, and reconciliation logic
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and test engineers

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of Java backend development with Spring Boot
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Pub/Sub or Kafka

• Experience building billing, metering, or invoicing systems
• Familiarity with file-based formats like CSV and Parquet
• Experience with stream processing frameworks (Apache Beam, Flink, Spark Streaming)
